The '16 Olympics: Where multiple Muslim countries instructed their Athletes to not compete against Jewish athletes and the world was silent.
This is a pretty tragic story but one that you can make sure has a happy ending. Please do that.
Adam is "A husband, and a father of three, and he has a rare form of blood cancer called primary myelofibrosis."
As mine and Adam's mutual friend Stella 'Rybakov' Wiener wrote me "Next week is the last week that donations are accepted for him as after that it will be too late for him." We cannot let that happen.
To quote someone who said it beautifully:
"There was a massive effort in LA to find a match for Adam.
The Jewish community rallied behind him.
But… no luck.
So now he needs a miracle.
And where do you go when you need a miracle?
We know that Israel is a country where total strangers show up to support one another during the worst of times – where we stand together to comfort the grieving, and we grieve as one.
Israel is also a country where we show up to weddings and celebrate the beginning of a new generation – we take hands and dance with total strangers. That’s just how we do: We choose life.
Israel is a place where kindness matters – there’s a sense of family that extends beyond the dinner table, that transcends politics, and traffic jams.
And Adam and his family need us to come together for him."
Here’s how: On September 28th, there will be centers all over Israel – and not just for Adam… There are others waiting for miracles, too — some are little kids, some are young fathers… and the more people on the registry, the more likely that they’ll get well
So please show up a anytime from 10am to 10pm on September 28th at the following locations throughout Israel:

I, like many of you, I am sure, get all sorts of requests to share all sorts of things on FB. I try to keep my fundraising, or any other type of pitching to a minimum. I try to give, not take.
Now I am taking. Let's find this dude a donor. Please!
Thanks for helping spread the word on The Times of Israel, Sarah Tuttle-Singer.
Samsung owners the last 5 years:
“iPhone sucks! No removable battery or SD card and plastic is so much more durable!” The S6 —> “Um, oops”.
Just like every week, I powered up my phone after a 25 hour break from the internet and asked on Twitter what I missed. The usual response is some tech announcement or lately, another Islamic attack on the western world.
This time was different and it left me in shock and utter disappointment. Deep deep disappointment, the type you only feel when a supposed friend shows his real colors and stabs you in the back, then twists the knife with a smirk on his face. Then twists some more.
Barack Obama leaves his eight years of anti Israel policies with a final middle finger to the Jewish state and the Jewish people. Nothing less.
Say what you will about Israel's right to exist and to build. Say what you will about the need to annex the West Bank. Say what you will about Netanyahu and his policies. It's all fine and good.
Today, Obama's administration made a very clear statement that it sides with Israel's enemies.
Again, the issue of "settlements" can be debated and the state department has made its stance on that quite clear over the last eight years. This is different. This is a podium on which the United States always, ALWAYS, defended israel against the self confessing anti israel organization called the United Nations. Until now.
And with that, Barack Obama will go down in history as the president who sided with BDS, the extremist Islamic terrorists group Hamas who has declared that all of Israel is a settlement, and with the many countries who blatantly and vocally hate Israel and its very existence. These are your colleagues on this resolution, Mr. Obama.
As we begin the celebration of Chanukah and our eternal status as a light unto the nations, we are faced, yet again, with a leader who wants our destruction. This time from within.
Good riddance to Mr. Obama and if you are saddened by the outcome of the US elections, you only have this type of behavior and betrayal to blame.
Our light will continue to shine, as it always has. We will continue to build our home. We will continue to develop our beautiful communities. We will continue to innovate in the face of hatred and betrayal. We won't let any resolution stop us, no matter how betrayed we feel.
For many of us, his feelings toward Israel have been clear for a very long time but now they are undeniable. While the world is in chaos and a downright genocide is taking place just miles away from where I sit right now, Obama and the US decided to focus on our beautiful towns and communities. Hatred. Pure evil hatred.
It is a devastating decision, but not surprising. He isn't the first and won't be the last leader who backstabbed us, but just like every single time before, he will disappear into the books of history and we will continue developing and bringing light into the world.
